Located in beautiful Brown County, Indiana, Camp Buckwoodis a campground and resort. We offer tent camping, RV spaces, high end cabins, daypasses and beautiful rooms in our Bed and Breakfast. Due to county ordinance our gate is closed between 10 pm and daylight. There is no traffic allowed through the gate or on the grounds after 10 pm, period.
"BUCKMART" Don't run to town for something you may have forgotten. Buckwood has a store in the office that will serve all of your camping needs. We also have things that you want like T'shirts, tanktops, coozies and more. And as always you can pick up ice and firewood too. Be smart, shop at Buckmart. Store hours are the same as office hours:
Sunday - Wednesday 10am until 5pm with check in permitted until 9pm
Thursday - Saturday 10am until 9pm
Our gate is closed to all in or out traffic from 10pm until sunrise, no exceptions!
Our Lodge - Bed and Breakfast features large fireplaces, Satellite TV in all rooms, full service home cooked food, as well as a welcoming staff and friendly fellowship with other members.
Camp Buckwood - 4 Seasons Lodge is an excellent couples, group, or singles experience. The pool and hot tub await you on hot days and cool nights. Our nature trail is great for cardio exercise and natural beauty. Sand volleyball, bocce ball, and croquet are three of the more popular activities we offer. Join us at our huge all purpose pavilion where we host pot luck pitch-ins, huge parties and events for when it is just too nice to be inside. The pavilion is also perfect for parties, lunch and escaping the intense sun or liquid sunshine!
We have had the pleasure of donating more than $45,000.00 over the past seven seasons to our favorite local charity Mother's Cupboard. Thanks to the kindness of our members we have helped in feeding the less fortunate in Brown County. Mother's Cupboard provides grocery items and serves hot meals daily between 4 pm and 6 pm 365 days a year and is located in the little town of Bean Blossom, only 4 miles from our gates. We encourage all of our visitors to stop in a make a contribution of grocery items or cash. Donations can be mailed to Mother's Cupboard Community Kitchen, Inc. P.O. Box 825. Be sure to visit the many unique shops and art galleries in Nashville, Indiana during your trip. Just 10 miles south, you can pick up any last minute necessities at several Nashville area stores during your visit. There are many excellent dining choices in Nashville as well. The friendly little town of Bean Blossom is only 4 miles to our southwest, and is home to a local grocer, Brownie's Restaurant and Mother's Cupboard Soup Kitchen/Food Pantry.
