This beautiful 48.6 acre 4 bedroom retreat is nestled in the rolling hills of historic northeastern Brown County, Indiana and sits down a long private lane. The property was once the site of a Small One Room School House with the original foundation still on location.

"Buckmart" is our camp store located right in the office.  Don't run to town if you have forgotten something.  Check in Buckmart and chances are we can save you a trip.  We also have cool Buckwood swag for sale as well as ice and firewood.  Store hours are the same as the office hours:

Sunday - Thursday 10am until 5pm with check in permitted until 9pm

Friday - Saturday 10am until 9pm

Our gate is closed to all in or out traffice from 10pm until sunrise, no exceptions!

Be Smart, Shop at Buckmart!

We have a large pavilion that offers shade and comfort during some of mother nature's worst moments. The pavilion is in the heart of the campground next to the pool. In addition we have a large shower house and a large recreational barn with a second shower house and attached laundry facility.

A heated, in ground pool with large deck for sunning is placed beautifully in the privacy of our property. This area is a wonderful place to take sun, cool off or just relax. Sand volleyball, scrabble, corn hole and card games are always on the menu.

Bring your fishing pole if you like to "cast your rod". Our 2.5 acre lake is stocked with large mouth bass, catfish and blue gill. At sunrise and just before sunset the fish literally jump onto your hook. No fishing license is required but bring your own fishing gear and bait.  It also serves as an excellent natural swimming hole. The dock on land and the floating dock provide a great place to hang out.  We have no lifeguard on duty so swimming is always at your own risk.  DIVING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

We have beautiful wooded trails that will let you become even more in touch with nature. In the unlikely event that you may venture off the clearly marked trails, our property boundary is clearly marked by a yellow cable. Please respect the property boundary at all times.
